Primal Processor captures all data on labor, overhead, consumable, and material costs. The system correlates the costs by date to the output for the same date in the kill room. Each product produced in Fabrication is then allocated cost as a portion of the Kill, and assigned a portion of the Fabrication Operating Cost.
By introducing cost assignment to each product in real time, there is visibility into the actual cost of each unit, the admin overhead for each customer, and the profitability of working with each Producer. Your Plant can understand the profit margin by product code, by producer, and by order.
By seeing each cost against each product, your Plant will see where actual inefficiencies are occurring, and make better strategic decisions to create better overall profitability.
Primal Processor tracks product as it flows through processing into Finished Goods. As boxes are weighed, a label and a database record are generated for physical identification and electronic tracking. The electronic record automatically provides yield calculations, USDA traceability, customer reporting, shipping forms, and populates the Sales and Inventory Portals so everyone in the company can see everything from their station.
The Sales Portal provides real time inventory, sell by dates, average sales per week, booked sales for the next month, profit margin by product, and floating cost average. Now your Sales Team can price more profitably against supply and demand, negotiate and create packaged deals to serve the Plant’s profitability – allowing for up-sale and real time price adjustments. A minimum profit margin metric can be set into the system to continuously drive desired selling behavior.
Digital Inventory eliminates product misplacement, and creates alerts for products close to expiration dates – insuring FIFO order fulfillment. Practically eliminates shrinkage / spoilage (approaching 100% elimination).
Real time feedback from sales and inventory on what is in stock, what is sold on average per week, and what booked sales are for the next two weeks. This guides production of the most profitable activities on the shop floor. The system automatically highlights the products that are under or overstocked, and makes re-work suggestions based on supply and demand.
There is a lot that happens between box weight label (BWL) and loading a truck. Primal Processor is an automated system that removes the need for specialized knowledge in the labeling process. This makes it easy for the right labels to be designed and produced as they are needed by Fulfillment. Guard-rails are placed into the system, ensuring the right boxes get the right labels, and are put on the right truck.
Labeling customizations include: Branding, various bar coding standards (UPC, EIN, and International GTIN), product name, product codes, weight, price, etc. Customers and End Receivers can even dictate differences by ship-to location.
Templates are built into the system for all international requirements, so producing labels that comply with any target country’s labeling regulatory requirements is easy. By adhering to templated requirements from regulatory agencies in foreign countries, your plant can deliver a valuable added service to your customers.
Primal Processor tracks from live weight through boxed product by carcass. The system automates Reports (grading, yield, shrinkage, costing, traceability, shippers, custom customer reports) and Forms (shipping, recall, and receiving, international export).

Primal Processor identifies and electronically assigns the relevant data to each carcass (live, hot and cold weights, and grade) as it passes through each stage of the processing plant. The system automatically correlates the information and calculates the yield. It produces trending data – providing the different departments and the producers with reports on differences of quality and yield by producer, grade, load, and other animal specific characteristics.
